Projects
These are some of the projects that have been completed by members of the men's shed for community groups in the local area.
Max's Garden:
The shed propagates quite a few plants, mainly succulents which are occasionally sold at the shed.
Starting this year, the shed has begun growing it's own fruit and vegetables which are used in the Men's Shed kitchen.
Vertical gardens are also made at the shed for their own use and are also made for sale to members of the public who are interested in purchasing them.
A portable Mini Golf course which can be hired out by community groups, schools etc to use for fundraising during an event.
A bench made for the Barwon Heads community gardens.
Bird nesting boxes are made to go up throughout country Victoria to places which have been impacted by floods and haven't got their sheds going since. These are to help with the wildlife in those flood affected areas.
A plan and completed noticeboard for the Barwon Heads Uniting Church.
The shed has also built and rebuilt the entrance pergola for the Ocean Grove Uniting Church.
For the SES, the shed created an SES truck with working sirens and lights which they can take around to kindergartens for promotional purposes.
